Mature in Christ: An Introduction to Spiritual Formation (Colossians 1:28)

In this sermon, Johnathan Arnold draws from Colossians 1:28 and other passages of Scripture to explain the journey of discipleship or spiritual formation towards maturity in Christ. There are three stages of spiritual maturity: spiritual childhood, youth, and parenthood. At each stage of maturity, we must engage and develop the mind or intellect, heart or affections, and will or capacity for making decisions and developing habits. We must take personal responsibility for our spiritual condition and make every effort to grow, but no one can grow without the church.
