Instead of weekly Sunday school, our church has begun offering classes in the Spring and Fall. This Fall we offered a six-week class on the “Church and Sacraments,” an introduction to ecclesiology (the doctrine of the church), with a focus on the church’s relationship to the kingdom (Matthew 16, 18).
The entire class is summarized in one handout (see the PDF download above). Note that there is not much on the handout for the first class, since we eased our way into the class by beginning to think about how the church is neglected today.
